Chief Learning Officer at OpenUK

Chris Howard started their work experience in 2016 as a Tech London Advocate, where they served as a voice for the private tech sector in London. In 2017, they became the Chair of the Governing Board for the New Wave Federation, a group of three primary schools. In 2018, they joined EPAM Systems as the Lead Open Source Program Manager, responsible for community building and collaboration in open source initiatives. In 2019, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors for Career Accelerator and continued their role at EPAM Systems. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant for Radius Networks. In 2021, they took on the role of Chief Learning Officer at OpenUK and became a Member of the Board of Advisors for The Incredible Everyday Woman. In 2022, they became a Community Host for Anywhere Club. Alongside these roles, they have also been involved in various other organizations and forums supporting LGBT+ diversity and technology.

Chris Howard has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Durham University, which they obtained in 2011. Chris later pursued further education at the same university and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2020 to 2023. In addition to their academic degrees, Chris has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Foundation Diploma in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In 2018, they acquired the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org and also became a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
