Maxim Makukha

Maxim Makukha has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maxim started their career as a Consultant at UBC Corporation in 2012. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Luxoft as a BI/Oracle Developer, where they were involved in analysis, development of reports, and database development. Maxim also participated in a migration project during this time.

In 2018, Maxim co-founded GuruWon and served as the CTO. Maxim was responsible for implementing the idea of a friend-challenge social network project and managed the development team while collaborating with marketing and UI designer teams.

From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GlobalLogic before joining DreamOn as a Product Owner. In these roles, they gained experience in software development and project management.

In 2020, Maxim joined Unitask Group as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, where they focused on business intelligence development. Maxim worked on this role until 2022.

From 2020 to 2022, they also worked at Packt as a Content Reviewer, contributing to the review process of various content.

In 2021, Maxim co-founded PickPackCar and served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Maxim played a key role in the company's establishment and development.

Most recently, in 2022, they worked as a MIS Developer at Newxel, where they built a business intelligence management internal system from scratch. Maxim was responsible for tools selection, environment administration, data source management, and developing ETL processes using Power BI, Azure, and APEX.

Currently, Maxim is working as a Business Intelligence Engineer at OpenVPN Inc., starting from 2022.

Maxim Makukha obtained a Master's degree in Finance, General from Kyiv National Economics University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2012. Maxim also has several certifications from IBM, including IBM Certified Administrator - Cognos 10 BI, IBM Certified Solution Expert - Cognos BI, IBM Certified Developer - Cognos 10 BI Metadata Models, IBM Certified Designer - Cognos 10 BI Reports, and IBM Certified Developer - Cognos TM1 10.1. The certifications were obtained between 2013 and 2016.
