Ivan Gusev

Ivan Gusev has a strong background in IT and technical operations. Ivan started their career at Business Sviaz Holding, JSC as a Shift NOC Engineer, where they were responsible for technical maintenance of the network operations center and resolving inter-network issues. Ivan then joined Credit Suisse as a Tech Support Analyst, providing support for front and back office end users in a customized and secured environment. Ivan later worked at Trolltech as a Systems Administrator, where they managed the IT infrastructure for the California office and implemented proactive support functions. At Nokia, they served as a Systems Administrator, handling the integration of Trolltech Inc.'s IT infrastructure and taking over the internet hosting infrastructure at Nokia Research Center. Ivan's next role was at Turn, where they started as a Sr./Lead Operations Engineer, focusing on deployment at scale, automation, troubleshooting, and capacity management. Ivan later took on the role of Manager, Technical Operations, overseeing the team and implementing Kanban-based methodology. Most recently, Ivan joined OpenX as a Principal Cloud Architect, specializing in Google Cloud and Kubernetes at scale.

Ivan Gusev earned a MS degree in Information Security from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 1999 to 2005. Ivan also obtained additional certifications including the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in January 2019 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020.
