Emma Barnett

Emma Barnett is an accomplished arts manager with extensive experience in music education and administration. Currently serving as both Assistant Orchestra Manager and Youth Orchestral Manager at Opera North since September 2018, Emma actively contributes to the orchestral community and youth programs. Prior to this role, Emma managed the Sydney Children's Choir program for Gondwana Choirs, overseeing a significant number of talented young musicians and organizing performances and choral camps. Emma's background includes various roles in finance, development, and project coordination in music education settings, as well as experience in writing and media through internships. Emma holds a Master's in Performing Arts Management from Accademia Teatro alla Scala and MIP Politecnico di Milano, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the University of Sydney.
