Frank Luzi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Frank started their career as a Managing Editor at The Current Newspapers, where they supervised production and managed a team. Frank then worked as a Senior Writer at TV Guide Magazine, where they wrote film reviews and feature stories. After that, they served as a Public Relations Manager & Copywriter at Spree.com Corp, overseeing communications and writing copy for product launches.
From 2001 to 2006, Frank worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art as a Senior Press Officer, handling publicity for exhibitions and education programs. Frank also managed project budgets and maintained relationships with media outlets. Following this, Frank joined Please Touch Museum as the Director of Media Relations, where they developed and executed a communications plan for the museum's grand opening.
In 2011, Frank joined Malvern Preparatory School as the Director of Communications. Frank directed marketing, public relations, web, and social media efforts for the school, collaborating with various departments to support overall marketing and recruitment goals. Frank then transitioned to Opera Philadelphia, first as the Vice President of Communications and later as the Vice President of Marketing Communications & Digital Strategy.
Throughout their career, Frank has demonstrated expertise in media relations, writing, strategic communications, and marketing. Their work has been featured in prominent media outlets, including The New York Times, USA Today, and BBC News.
From 1987 to 1991, Frank Luzi attended Rutgers University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English, focusing on Journalism and Creative Writing. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge in this field, they then attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in English and Creative Writing.
