Michael Knight has extensive work experience in the opera industry. Michael began their career at the Opera Company of Philadelphia in 2002, where they started as a Part Time Box Office Assistant. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as opening emails, answering phones, processing ticket orders, and assisting subscribers with seat changes.

After their time as a Part Time Box Office Assistant, Michael Knight moved up within the company to become a Group Sales Coordinator. In this role, they managed groups who wanted to attend performances, utilizing hold and invoicing systems and working with multiple groups simultaneously.

In 2014, Michael Knight joined Opera Philadelphia as the Marketing Operations Manager. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing marketing operations and ensuring efficient and effective communication with the audience.

Most recently, Michael Knight served as the Director of Guest Services at Opera Philadelphia. This position involves managing guest services and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Throughout their career, Michael Knight has consistently demonstrated their dedication and expertise in providing exceptional service to opera patrons.

Michael Knight attended Bensalem High School from 1993 to 1997, where they took accelerated courses. Afterward, in 1997, they enrolled in Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology and German.
