Rui Hu

Rui Hu currently serves as the Vice President at Opera Software since October 2016, leading innovation in software solutions. Prior to this role, Rui Hu spent a decade at Microsoft, where responsibilities included managing the development of cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly the Xiaoice AI product, focusing on natural language processing, computer vision, speech technology, machine learning, and data mining. Rui Hu's earlier roles at Microsoft involved enhancing Bing's image and video search relevance through the development of advanced ranking techniques, machine learning models, and document/query classifiers. Rui Hu holds a Master's degree in Automation and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Automation, both from Tsinghua University.
