Tero Hietanen

Tero Hietanen currently serves as the Head of the Master of Technology Education degree program and a member of the quality and responsibility working group at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since August 2020. Additionally, Tero Hietanen holds the position of Chairman of the working group on cross-education in universities of applied sciences within the Ministry of Education & Culture. With a long-standing involvement in the Finnish Society of Automation, Tero has served as Chairman of the Automation Society's Education Committee and held roles on the board. Tero Hietanen has been a Senior Lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since 2001 and has experience as a Project Engineer at Vitec ALMA Oy. Previous roles include leadership positions at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and a research position at the University of Oulu.
