Mäenpää Marjo

Marjo Mäenpää has extensive work experience in various organizations. Mäenpää is currently serving as the Councillor of Education/Head of the Finnish Centre of Expertise in Education and Development (FinCEED) at the Finnish National Agency for Education. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief of the inter-country adoption service at Save the Children Finland. Mäenpää also served as a Humanitarian Aid Advisor at Finn Church Aid and held the position of Country Director and Program Coordinator at the same organization at different times. Marjo also worked as a Governance Support Officer at UNDP and as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mäenpää Marjo has a Master of Social Sciences degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Helsinki, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences in Political Science and Government from Uppsala University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In 2018 and 2019, Marjo also earned a Certificate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the Institute of Marketing Finland.
