Vivek Harinarain

Vivek Harinarain has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. vivek is currently the Managing Director of OPG Power Group since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the MD & CEO of Tennex Consulting Pvt Ltd from February 2015 to September 2019. vivek was also the CEO of Everonn Skills Development Ltd from October 2012 to January 2015 and the chief executive officer of Everonn Systems India Limited from August 2010 to January 2015. In earlier roles, they were the Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Salt Corporation Ltd. from 2005 to 2007 and the Secretary to Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Chairman of the Information Technology (IT) Department, GOTN & ELCOT from 2001 to 2005. vivek also had positions as Commissioner in the Survey & Settlement Department, Govt of Tamil Nadu in 2001 and Founder Chief Executive Officer of the Technology Mission of Government of Tamil Nadu from 1999 to 2001. In addition, they served as Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cement Corporation (TANCEM), Govt of India Undertaking from 1998 to 1999 and Commissioner in the Prohibition Excise & Dept., Govt of Tamil Nadu from 1997 to 1998.

Vivek Harinarain completed their master's degree in Social Policy and Planning for Developing Countries (SPPDC) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1996 to 1997. vivek also obtained an MSc from LSE in December 1997.
