Mark Dressen

Mark Dressen is a seasoned professional in the field of process engineering and development, currently serving as Supervisor of Production Engineering at Ophtec since May 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Process Development Engineer at Polyganics, a Regenity Bioscience Company from February 2016 to May 2024, and significant positions at Patheon and DSM, where responsibilities ranged from leading process and product developments to managing technology transfers for new production processes. Mark holds a PhD in Applied Organic Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology, enhancing their expertise in scaling up chemical processes, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from Zuyd Hogeschool. Through various roles, Mark has demonstrated leadership in commercial projects and cross-functional teams, maintaining a strong focus on quality documentation and process risk assessments.
