Gavin King has a diverse range of experience in the creative industry. Gavin began their career at Modem Media in 2002, where they worked as a Designer and Art Director. From there, they moved on to TBWA / GGT and EHS Brann, where they continued in the role of Designer and Art Director.
In 2004, King joined Agency Republic as a Designer and Art Director before transitioning to Ogilvy Interactive later that year. At Ogilvy Interactive, they worked as an Art Director and was involved in concepting, producing final artwork, and presenting to clients.
King then joined Proximity London in 2007 as a Brand Guardian, where they developed ideas for clients such as Mars, Procter & Gamble, and InterContinental Hotels. Gavin also oversaw other creatives and assisted in their concept development.
In 2008, King started working at The BIO Agency as a Creative Director, Art Director, and Designer. During their time there, they worked with clients such as Turner Broadcasting, Travelex, and Selfridges, creating campaigns across various digital platforms.
From 2012 to 2014, King held the position of Senior Designer and Art Director at iris Worldwide. Their responsibilities included presenting creative to clients and creating digital assets for brands such as Shell, Philips, Gatorade, and Barclays.
In 2014, King started their own freelance venture called Gavin King Creative, where they provided services in Creative Direction, Art Direction, and Design. Gavin worked with clients such as Zoopla, Westhill Commercial, and Izurium.
Most recently, King has been serving as the Chief Product Officer at Opogo since 2017. Opogo is a community platform that connects professionals in the education sector and provides tailored job matches based on skills and experience.

Gavin King attended Teesside University from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a BA (Honors) in Graphic Design. Gavin successfully completed their degree, graduating with a 2:1.
