Sheldon Freisinger

Sheldon Freisinger has accumulated extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Senior Director - Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. since September 2011, where responsibilities include managing individual, institutional, and corporate assets as a discretionary manager and comprehensive financial advisor. Prior to this, Sheldon held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at Smith Barney Portfolio Management Group from January 1994 to February 2011, and earlier served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Prudential Securities from May 1985 to January 1994. Sheldon earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in English and Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1967 and 1972, and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Technology at Arizona State University from 1973 to 1976.
