Matt Calhoun

Matt Calhoun has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matt currently works as the Accounting Lead at OppFi since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Staff Accountant at OppLoans from April 2020 to August 2021. Matt also worked as a Staff Accountant at AXA Assistance from July 2019 to April 2020, where they specialized in developing standards of procedure for finance operations and performed AR and Billing analysis. Matt has experience in the hospitality industry as well, having worked as a Bartender at Maddon's Post, Accounting Assistant at Taxes & More, and Lead Bartender at River Roast Social House. Matt also served as a Bartender at Uncommon Ground and later became the Assistant General Manager at Uncommon Ground- Edgewater. Additionally, Matt has a background in music, having worked as a Musician and Percussion/Vocals performer at Watson & Calhoun. Matt also briefly worked as a Bar Manager at Keefer's Bar and Grille, responsible for various managerial tasks and bartending.

Matt Calhoun obtained a Diploma in Governor's Seal from Powell Valley High School from 1994 to 1997. Matt then pursued a BA in Business Management, specializing in Accounting/Finance, from American InterContinental University from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Matt has obtained several certifications including "Financial Accounting Part 1," "Strategic Thinking," "Accounting Foundations: Bookkeeping," and "Basset Alcohol Certification."
