Simon Lynch

Simon Lynch has extensive work experience in the field of community development and microfinance. In 1988, they worked at Qantas as a Business Development Services Manager until 1996. From 1997 to 2008, they held the position of Asia Regional Director and CEO of Opportunity Timor Leste at Opportunity International Network, where they coordinated the work in Asia and managed a team of 45 staff in East Timor. In 2008, they joined Opportunity International Global as the Indonesia Director, where they developed strategies and successfully transformed a struggling program into a sustainable and effective microfinance program serving 1.3 million families. In 2010, Simon Lynch joined Baptist World Aid as a Board Director and Chair of Programs Performance Subcommittee, a position they held until 2019. Since 2013, they have been working as the Community Development Director at Opportunity International Australia.

Simon Lynch attended Gymea High School from 1981 to 1982. During this time, no specific degree or field of study information was provided.
