Wail Khemir

Wail Khemir is a skilled software engineer with a diverse range of experience. Wail currently works at Optable as a Software Engineer, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they were employed by AppNexus from December 2017 to August 2021 as a Software Engineer in the Real-Time Platform department. From May 2016 to December 2017, Wail worked at Cisco as a Software Engineer, specializing in Switching and Routing.

Before their time at AppNexus and Cisco, Wail gained valuable experience through various roles at Polytechnique Montréal. From September to December 2015, they worked as a Lab Instructor in Computer Engineering, responsible for writing lab assignments, answering student queries, and grading their work. Wail also held the same position from September 2014 to April 2015.

Furthermore, Wail has interned at Genetec as a Software Engineer Intern in 2015. During this internship, they contributed to the development of Security Center 5.3, a video management system, by adding new features such as support for panoramic multi-channel cameras with real-time dewarping.

In 2014, Wail interned at Audiokinetic as a Software Engineer Intern, where they developed version 2014.1 of the Wwise integration with Unity3D in C#. This updated plugin was successfully shipped at the conclusion of their internship.

Wail Khemir earned a Diploma of College Studies in Science from Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, Khemir pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, completing the program from 2012 to 2016.
