Carrie H. has over 25 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Carrie began their career in 1995 as a Provider Relations Representative at Preferred Provider Organization of Michigan. Carrie then moved to Medaphis Corporation in 1997 as a Managed Care Coordinator. In 1999, they became a Network Services Specialist at Nationwide Health Plans. In 2001, they took on the role of Associate Sales Rep. - New Business Development at Siemens Medical Solutions USA. Carrie then joined Entific Medical Systems in 2003 as a Reimbursement Manager. In 2005, they became the Director of Reimbursement and Regulatory Affairs at Carmel Pharma Inc. Carrie then moved to Oticon Medical in 2012, where they held the role of Director of Market Access & Health Policy and Director of Reimbursement (2012-June 2017) / Consultant (2011-2012). In 2018, they were appointed Director of Reimbursement and Health Policy, Midwest & West at Second Sight Medical Products. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Reimbursement Consultant. In 2022, they are set to become the Director of Market Access at Optellum.

Carrie H. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication from The Ohio State University. Carrie then went on to obtain a Certificate in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) from the University of Washington in 2018.
