Ian Brown

Ian Brown is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the medical technology field. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Mirada Medical since January 2009, Ian leads technology integration and special projects focused on advancing medical imaging technologies for diagnostic and radiotherapy applications. Concurrently, since June 2017, Ian has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Medical Software Specialist at Optellum. Previously, from 2003 to January 2009, Ian contributed as a Software Engineer and Senior Staff member at Siemens Medical Solutions, specializing in software architecture and development for medical devices utilizing languages such as Java, C++, and C#. Ian's career began at Portrait Software, where from August 1989 to September 2002, Ian held the position of Principal Engineer, overseeing bespoke software solutions for retail, banking, and insurance sectors, while also managing projects and leading teams.
