Jerome Declerck began their work experience in 1998 as a Visiting Scientist at Johns Hopkins University. In 1999, they became a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford and a Chief Scientist at Oxford Medical Image Analysis. In 2001, they were promoted to Chief Scientist at CTI - Mirada Solutions Ltd, where they implemented and supported transition after a merger and two acquisitions. From 2005 to 2017, they worked at Siemens Molecular Imaging, serving as Senior Advisor, Clinical Innovations, Director, Science and Technology, and Sr Manager Science. Finally, in 2017, they became COO and Vice President Research and Development of Optellum, a company that uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to unlock deep insights in huge image databases.
Jerome Declerck obtained their PhD in Medical Image Processing from Université Côte d'Azur between 1995 and 1998. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer degree in Applied Mathematics from CentraleSupélec between 1990 and 1993.
