Noah Waterfield Price has had a diverse career, beginning in 2008 as a Web Designer/Developer for KC3.net (now V8 Media). In 2010, they were elected Student Union President at Wadham College, where they managed a committee of 35 people and successfully lobbied the college to appoint a full-time access officer. Noah also began their research student role at the University of Bristol in 2010. In 2011, they became the Artistic Director/Webmaster for Sheep Music Ltd, where they programmed for a successful music festival and booked and managed over 300 performers. Noah then began their Research Student role at the London Centre For Nanotechnology in 2012. In 2014, they took on a Tutor for Physics role at the University of Oxford, tutoring over 40 2nd year undergraduates in Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory, Statistical Mechanics and Statistics. Noah then became a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford in 2017, employing cutting-edge facility diffraction techniques to investigate and manipulate the magnetoelectric properties of multiferroic materials, and developing accompanying methods and tools to analyse the data. Finally, in 2018, they became a Research Lead and Research Scientist at Optellum.
Noah Waterfield Price's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Oxford, which they completed between 2013 and 2017. Noah also holds an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford, which they completed between 2009 and 2013. In 2011, they attended the Theoretical Materials Science Summer school at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training on Theory and Simulation of Materials, also in the field of Condensed Matter and Materials Physics.
