John Sumner

John Sumner is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in territory and account management. Currently serving as a Territory Sales Representative at OPTEX Entrance EMEA since July 2022, John previously held the position of Outside Sales Representative at Controlled Products Systems Group from February 2020 to July 2022. Prior to that, John was the National Account Manager for Nortek Security & Control, overseeing significant accounts such as The Home Depot, and held the role of District Sales Manager at McElroy Overhead Door Company for over 22 years, during which John owned a residential garage door business. John’s educational background includes studies at Moorpark College and West Chicago High School.
