Paul Plijnaar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Paul started their career at Thales Nederland, where they completed an internship focused on the outsourcing market within the Mechanical Parts Manufacturing business unit.

After that, Paul worked at Mirror Controls International as a Product Designer, specifically working on the Product Development department for the latest generation PowerFold mirror actuator. Their responsibilities included designing and modeling based on project specifications.

Following that role, Paul joined Eriks Aandrijftechniek as a Mechanical Engineer in the engineering department. Their tasks included developing and constructing mechanical concepts using Solidworks for existing and new pilot projects in motion control systems.

Paul then moved on to Fokker Aerostructures as a Manufacturing Engineer. Collins Aerospace is a leading manufacturer of aircraft passenger cabin interior products.

After that, Paul joined Yokogawa Process Analyzers Europe B.V. as a Development Engineer. Paul worked on developing and optimizing processes for analytical instruments before moving on to Spinn Inc. as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they worked on a key brewer infusion system, optimizing taste and solving mechanical design problems related to moving parts and temperature.

Most recently, Paul joined Optics11 Life as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Paul Plijnaar's education history includes two bachelor's degrees from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). From 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's in Precision Engineering, followed by a Bachelor's in Industrial Management from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their degrees, Paul has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they acquired a certification in Siemens NX from Siemens PLM Software. Paul also obtained a certification in Vorm- en Plaatstoleranties from Kenteq in 2012. In the same year, they obtained certifications in Catia V5 from KEONYS and Solidworks 2011 - Simulation & Routing from Cadmes. In 2011, Paul completed a course on Aandrijftechiek - Servo, Stepper en DC-motoren (werkgebieden) from Mikrocentrum. Paul also obtained a certification in Solidworks 2009 - Basis from Cadmes in 2009. In 2008, they acquired a certification in Pro-Engineer WildFire 2 from PTC+. In 2003, Paul completed a Doorstroommodule Wis- en Natuurkunde from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Their most recent certification, obtained in 2015, is an IPMA-D certification from IPMA: International Project Management Association. In 2017, they obtained a certification in asme Y14.5 2009 from bvdesign.be. Additionally, Paul has completed a course in Autocad R14 + Basisveiligheid VCA and a course in Blindtypen, although the institutions and dates of completion are not provided.
