Dan Connell

Dan Connell has over 30 years of work experience in mechanical engineering and technical roles. Dan is currently working as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Optikos Corporation since November 2019. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company from May 2012 to November 2019.

Before joining Optikos Corporation, Dan worked at Textron Defense Systems as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from October 2004 to January 2012.

From January 1999 to October 2004, Dan worked at Optikos Corporation as a Lead Mechanical Engineer/Engineering Manager. In this role, they designed automated opto-mechanical products, estimated time, resource, and material budgets, and produced drawings using SolidWorks.

Dan Connell obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University between 1983 and 1987. In 1987, they attended the US Navy Nuclear Power School, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period.
