Daniel Hammerle has a diverse work experience in the field of opto-mechanical engineering. Daniel started their career at L-3 Integrated Optical Systems in 2001, where they served as the Lead Engineer and later as the Program Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for designing and developing optical telescope subsystems and managing a limited-production program supplying hyperspectral imagers for airborne platforms. Daniel also led a team of engineers and scientists in developing light-weight telescope designs for superior optical performance in harsh space environments. In 2013, Daniel joined Northrop Grumman AOX as the Manager of Engineering and Advanced Optics, where they worked until 2015. Currently, they serve as the Manager of Opto-mechanical Engineering at Optikos Corporation.
Daniel Hammerle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1983 to 1987. Daniel then pursued their Master of Divinity degree in Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from 1989 to 1993.
