Thorsten Hemann

Thorsten Hemann has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the tech industry. Thorsten is currently serving as the VP Solution Engineering at optilyz since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of CTO at optilyz from April 2016 to May 2021.

Before joining optilyz, Thorsten worked as a Senior Technical Project Engineer at Sevenval Technologies GmbH from March 2014 to April 2016. Thorsten also briefly served as the CTO at Frox GmbH in January 2014.

From February 2012 to December 2013, they worked at Sevenval GmbH, first as the Director Professional Services and then as the Director Mobile Solution Consulting. Prior to that, they held leadership roles at YOC AG, serving as the Director Professional Services from May 2009 to January 2012 and as the Director Software Development Mobile Internet from October 2005 to April 2009.

Before joining YOC AG, Thorsten worked as the CTO at ROON Multimedia KG from July 2000 to February 2005. Thorsten began their career at X-TRA GmbH Berlin, where they served as the CEO from November 1995 to January 2000.

Thorsten Hemann attended OSZ Industrie und Datenverarbeitung in Berlin from 1989 to 1992. Thorsten pursued the degree of IT-Kaufmann (IHK) and specialized in the field of IT during their time at the institution.
