Sergei Kuznetsov

Sergei Kuznetsov, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive expertise in process control and systems integration, currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Process Control Consultant at Optima Powerware since April 2013. Significant achievements include the implementation of a SAG Mill multi-variable model-based controller at a gold mine, resulting in over three percent production increase, as well as the development of a patent-pending autonomously powered AG/SAG impact energy/load estimating instrument. With previous roles as Senior Consultant at Maverick Technologies and Principal Control Systems Engineer at The Automation Group, Sergei has a robust background spanning over three decades in various positions, including Controls Engineer at Fisher-Rosemount and Moscow Refinery. Sergei earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with Honours from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
