David Briggs

David Briggs has a diverse work experience spanning several companies.

David started their career as an Engineer at Bell + Howell in 1989 and worked there until 1992.

David then joined Motorola in 1992 and held various roles as an Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Lead Electrical Engineer until 2006.

After that, they worked at Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) from 2007 to 2018. Their roles included Senior Product Manager, Senior Director of Program Management, and Senior Director of Operations.

In 2011, they briefly worked at Motorola Mobile Devices as a Director of Program Management before returning to Motorola Mobility as a Director of Program Management and Product Operations.

In 2013, their role expanded to become the Senior Director of Operations for the Mobile Business Unit, overseeing operations in Chicago, China, and Brazil.

Lastly, they are currently working at Optimal Design as the Vice President of Manufacturing and Program Management, starting in 2022.

Throughout their career, they have been involved in various areas such as program management, product development, operations, and engineering.

David Briggs obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago from 1987 to 1989. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued an MBA in Strategic Management at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
