Joshua Cantone

Joshua is one of the leaders of the Optimatics Executive Team and has been a critical part of the growth of Optimatics in the past five years. In his current role as CEO, Joshua is leading the transformation of Optimatics business processes and continues to evolve relationships with their key customers across the world.

In 2018, Joshua led Optimatics in the development of a new optimization tool for optimizing the packaging of WSSC’s water main replacement program. In 2020, he continues to lead the support of South Australia Water Corporation in developing water and sewer master plans for South Australia Water. He also aided Southern Water of the United Kingdom in using OptimizerTM to develop an optimal strategy for improving water quality and resilience that yielded a TOTEX saving in excess of 30%.

Previously, Joshua attended the University of Adelaide in South Australia and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently enrolled in the EMBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business; he also serves as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide.
