Doug Besch

Doug Besch has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Doug is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at OptimizeRx since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of SVP Product Strategy & Innovation at OptimizeRx from May 2021 to October 2022. Before joining OptimizeRx, Doug worked at Clarivate as Vice President - Market Access and Payor Solutions from November 2019 to May 2021. Doug was responsible for the P&L oversight of all the US Market Access Data and Insights products as well as all Payor software products at Clarivate. Doug also worked at Decision Resources Group as the Vice President Payor Product & Innovation from January 2018 to November 2019. Their responsibilities included P&L oversight for all the Payor software products at the company. Prior to these roles, Doug served as the Chief Product Officer at Rx Savings Solutions from January 2017 to June 2017, where they were responsible for product vision, strategy, design, research, and development oversight. Doug also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations at Rx Savings Solutions from September 2013 to January 2017 and January 2012 to September 2013, respectively. Earlier in their career, Doug gained experience at Walgreens, holding various roles such as Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist at different store locations. Doug Besch obtained a High School degree from Bishop Garrigan High School in 1999. Doug then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Simpson College from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they attended Creighton University's School of Pharmacy & Health Professions from 2003 to 2007, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Creighton University's Heider College of Business from 2005 to 2007.
