Parisa Teymouri

Parisa Teymouri is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and project design. Currently serving as a Project Design Engineer at OPTIMUM SEISMIC since May 2018, Parisa specializes in upgrading buildings to meet current codes, with a focus on soft story retrofits in the Los Angeles area. Prior experience includes a role as a Structural Engineer at Architects Inc. and as a Civil Structural Engineer at Ahab Construction Company, where involvement in the "Tehran Eye" project required oversight of implementation plans and compliance with building codes. Additionally, Parisa worked as a Research Assistant at the Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center, contributing to a project focused on the seismic performance of concrete panels. Parisa holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from California State University, Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Earthquake Engineering from the University of Science and Culture.
