Scott Andrews

Scott Andrews is an experienced professional in the metallurgical and steel industries, currently serving as Mill General Manager at Optimus Steel, LLC since October 2020, after holding the role of Works Manager. Prior to this, Scott was Operations Manager at North American Hoganas from March 2019 to September 2020, and Manager of Melting and Atomizing at the same company in 2018-2019. Scott's extensive background includes a managerial position at Nucor Castrip Arkansas and multiple roles at Nucor Steel Hertford County, where responsibilities ranged from Melt Shop Manager to Process Engineer. Earlier in Scott's career, positions included Process Metallurgist at Lukens Steel and Plant Metallurgist at McKees Rocks Forgings. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Metals Science and Engineering with a focus on Metallurgical Engineering from Penn State University, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
