Yngve Høiseth has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief Product Officer at Optio Incentives since August 2020. Prior to that, they were a Pledger at Founders Pledge from February 2019 to June 2020, where they were dedicated to leveraging their success for good by pledging a portion of future exit proceeds to charity.
From August 2018 to June 2020, Yngve served as the Co-Founder and CTO of Empiricast, a startup focused on improving predictions and decision-making in organizations. Yngve was responsible for software development, business-related tasks, and strategy development.
Before Empiricast, Yngve worked as a Project Manager and Web Developer at Netmaking AS from August 2015 to June 2018. Yngve gained experience in web development and project management during this time.
Yngve's entrepreneurial journey began in September 2014 when they co-founded Fraats, a virtual farmers' market. However, due to slow sales, they decided to shut down the core business after a year.
In January 2014, Yngve took on the role of Head of Marketing at Adaptive Solutions AS, a chemicals trading agency. This position allowed him to gain experience in marketing, sales, and PR in a non-established company.
Yngve's earlier experiences include an internship at Sparebanken Vest from September 2013 to November 2013, and roles in various student organizations during their time at the University of Bergen. Yngve served as the President of The Student Parliament, Executive for Learning Environment and Student Welfare, and a Board Member of Høires Studenterforening I Bergen (HSFB). Additionally, they were the Chair of The Student Society at the Department of Economics from August 2011 to August 2012.
Yngve Høiseth began their education at the Norwegian Army's Officer Candidate School from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained the degree of Sergeant. During this time, they studied subjects related to Military, Leadership, Sports, Radio- and Telecommunication.
Yngve then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 2010 to 2013. Following this, in 2012, as part of their Bachelor's degree, they participated in exchange studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they further deepened their knowledge in the field of Economics.
