Ramy Naguib Attia, PhD, MBA, DPharm has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the healthcare industry. Ramy began their career as a Hospital Pharmacist at Kobbri El Kobba Military Hospital in 2002. Ramy then worked as a Pharmacy Manager at Chacra Pharmacy, where they compounded medications and provided medical consultation to customers. In 2003, Dr. Attia became a Research Associate in the Department of Research and Development at EVA pharma, where they implemented designated formulations and analyzed trial results.
Dr. Attia furthered their career in academia, serving as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. During this time, they conducted research on childhood leukemia and the regulation of PDK4 and CPT-1a by thyroid hormone. Ramy also mentored and guided medical and graduate students in summer lab internships.
Following their time at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Attia joined St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Ramy then joined BioScrip, Inc. in 2015 as a Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist, providing patient medication therapy monitoring and counseling.

Ramy initially served as a Director of Pharmacy, directing and evaluating pharmacy staff and ensuring staff training and competency.
