Eduardo Gonzalez

Eduardo Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data science.

Eduardo is currently working as a Data Engineer at Option SPA, where they provide data engineering and data science services to the mining company BHP. Their role involves processing and analyzing massive near-real-time data.

Prior to this, Eduardo worked as a Data Engineer at Zenta Group from September 2019 to March 2021. During their tenure, they gained experience in database migration from on-premise to cloud and from non-relational to relational databases. Eduardo also performed orchestration and built integration processes for SAP systems into a single system with databases in CloudSQL-PostgreSQL. Additionally, they were responsible for data preparation and cleaning for machine learning model construction.

Eduardo also had a previous role as an intern at Momentum Lab. During their internship, they gained hands-on experience in Docker container management, setup and installation of open-source applications, and analysis and design of a software integration application developed in the Django framework. This application integrated various open-source tools, including Gitlab, Mantis Bug Tracker, Seafile, and Rainloop, into a single system for easier access in the company.

Throughout their career, Eduardo has demonstrated proficiency in cloud data engineering, data analysis, database migration, system integration, and machine learning data preparation.

Eduardo Gonzalez attended UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello from 2014 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Informatics Engineering. Eduardo completed their education at UCAB without obtaining a specific degree. In February 2021, Eduardo obtained a Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud.
