Matt Mendivil

Matt Mendivil is a software engineer currently employed at Opto Investments since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matt worked at Stellar Pizza from September 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included software engineering and mechanical design engineering. In June 2018, a Vehicle Engineering Internship was completed at SpaceX. Matt also served as Mechanical Co-Lead at Penn Electric Racing from August 2015 to June 2018, and gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at GE Aviation during the summer of 2017. A brief internship as a Risk Analysis Intern took place at Community Capital Development Corporation in January 2017. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, completing the degree in 2019.
