Patrick Tran has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics and customer service. Patrick currently works as a Field Service Engineer at Optos since 2021. Patrick also worked as a Field Service Technician at Ubix Business Machines and as an Electronic Engineer at Compac Industries Ltd, where they repaired and serviced electronic equipment used for fuel metering and pumping systems. In their role at Agcon Engineering, they serviced and repaired electronics circuits used in the agriculture industry and calibrated temperature controllers for refrigeration trucks.
Patrick Tran obtained their New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (NZCE) with a specialization in Electronic & Computer Technology from Manukau Institute of Technology | Te Pūkenga between 1990 and 1994. Patrick also completed the Cisco Systems Networking Academy Program at Boxhill Institute in 2002. In 2015, Patrick acquired a Restricted Electrical Worker's Licence Class-2 from Chisholm Institute.
