Simon Moody

Simon Moody has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Simon is currently the Managing Director of Private Markets at OPTrust since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Private Markets at OPTrust from 2018 to 2023. In addition, Simon has been a Board Member at Archtop Fiber since November 2022 and at Kineticor Resource Corp since February 2017. Simon also served as a Board Member at EdgeCore Internet Real Estate from 2018 to 2022. Before joining OPTrust, Simon worked at BMO Capital Markets, where they served as an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions from 2009 to 2011 and as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions from 2007 to 2009.

Simon Moody completed the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) - Directors Education Program (DEP) at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an Honors Business Administration degree at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2005 to 2007.
