Tom Cunningham

Tom Cunningham is an experienced music professional with a diverse background in conducting, education, and management. Currently serving as Vice President and Manager for Conductors and Attractions at Opus 3 Artists since September 2019, Tom has also held various roles within the organization, including Associate Manager and Managerial Assistant to the President & CEO. From October 2014 to October 2023, Tom was the Executive Director of Urban Playground Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble dedicated to amplifying the works of composers of color and female composers. Previous positions include Director of Orchestras (interim) at Iowa State University, Music Teacher at Pen Ryn School, Assistant Conductor at Voices of Ascension, Staff Conductor for Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, and Teacher of Music at Titusville Academy. Tom's academic credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Master of Arts in Teaching from Westminster Choir College.
