Ge Newman

Ge Newman is a seasoned Network Security Engineer currently employed at Applus Technologies since July 2021, specializing in incident investigation and response, as well as researching and remediating network threats across all devices using TCP/IP protocols. Prior experience includes roles as a Network Administrator at Bridgehead I.T. where responsibilities encompassed configuring and managing Cisco, Fortigate, Sonicwall, and Watchguard firewalls among other networking devices, and as a Network Solutions Engineer at Liquid Web. Earlier positions include serving as a Network Engineer at DC Industries, managing two corporate networks, and as Managing Director at Network Security Solutions, conducting security audits and designing security policies. Ge started the professional journey at Our Lady of the Lake University, providing IT help desk support and managing backup and security systems.
