Gizem Eda Varol

Gizem Eda Varol has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gizem Eda started their career in 2011 with an internship at GTS Turbo Machine. Gizem Eda then worked as a Supervisor at the Federation of Turkish Automobile Sports (TOSFED) from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, Gizem completed an internship at Ferro Casting. Gizem Eda then worked as an Assistant Student at Adnan Tekin Material Sciences & Production Technologies Applied Researh Center from 2014 to 2015. Following that, they took on the role of a Technical Assistant to Director as a Metallurgical and Materials Engineer at Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK Metallurgy) from 2015 to 2017. In 2020, Gizem joined GoDaddy as a Sales and Technical Support member. Currently, they are working at Applus Technologies as a Procurement IT Support Specialist since 2021.

Gizem Eda Varol has a strong educational background in metallurgy and materials engineering. Gizem Eda completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Istanbul Technical University from 2009 to 2015. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Ingenieria de Metallurgia y Materiales from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

To further enhance their knowledge in the field, Gizem Eda Varol completed Master's degrees in two different universities. From 2016 to 2018, they attended Istanbul Technical University, earning a Master's degree in Production Metallurgy and Technologies Engineering. Additionally, in 2017 to 2018, they pursued another Master's degree in Ingenieria de Metallurgia y Materiales from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

In addition to their formal education, Gizem Eda Varol also obtained several certifications to expand their skillset. Gizem Eda completed workshops in React Development, Responsive Web Development, Front-end Development, and Introduction to Coding from SheCodes Workshops in 2021. In 2013, they also took a Spanish Course at BCN Lip, and in 2012, they completed another Spanish Course at English Time.
