Rachel Foxton

Rachel Foxton is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Chief Executive Asia at 39 Essex Chambers since April 2024 and as Head of APAC at Opus 2 since November 2021. Previously, Rachel held the position of Director of Business Development and Head of Practice Support at Twenty Essex from March 2015 to November 2021, and served as Practice Manager at Clifford Chance Asia from May 2013 to March 2015. Rachel also worked as Director of Business Development at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre from June 2009 to May 2013 and was a member of the ICCA 2012 Organising Committee from May 2010 to June 2012. Rachel's academic background includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Law and an LLB(Hons) in English Law and European Law from Queen Mary University of London. Additionally, Rachel has held academic roles as an Associate Professor at The College of Law of England and Wales and has legal experience as a Solicitor at Ince & Co from 1995 to 1998.
