Joel Persinger

Joel Persinger, PhD, is a seasoned professional in human factors research and accessibility, currently serving as the Lead Human Factors Researcher and Accessibility SME at Oracle Healthcare since January 2022. Previously, Joel held the role of UX Manager and Compliance Researcher at Vispero™, where significant contributions included designing usability test protocols for compliance with Medical Device Regulation and analyzing technical documentation for clinical evaluations. Earlier experience includes a Senior Human Factors Researcher role at GE Appliances, where research projects on connected products and cleaning innovations were led, as well as a Human Factors Consultant position at Juvly Aesthetics, focusing on corporate policy and employee motivation metrics. Joel's academic background includes a PhD and Master's degree in Human Factors from Wichita State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University.
