Sherice Avant

Sherice Avant, PhD, currently serves as Partner Success Manager at Placer.ai, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Sherice was Head of Partnerships at Numina, where the focus was on utilizing computer vision technology to enhance urban planning. Sherice also held multiple positions at Women Who Code, including Director of Partnerships and Growth, Senior Growth Manager, and Account Manager, contributing to the organization's growth and sustainability. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, supporting interdisciplinary research and delivering lectures on educational theories. Sherice holds a PhD in Education and a Master’s Degree from UC Santa Barbara, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from California State University-Sacramento.
