Shwan Ashrafi

Shwan Ashrafi is an experienced applied scientist with a strong background in electrical engineering and international studies. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Applied Scientist at Oracle, Shwan has previously held positions including Principal Applied Scientist and Senior Research Scientist/Tech Lead at Axon. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Systems Engineer at Qualcomm Corporate R&D and Research Assistant and Lecturer at the University of Washington. Shwan's educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies, both earned from the University of Washington between 2012 and 2016.
