Troy Fortier

Troy Fortier is a seasoned software development leader with extensive experience in directing engineering teams and managing complex projects within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Oracle since March 2014, Troy oversees the development of hardware and software for next-generation session border controllers, ensuring project milestones and budget management. Prior roles include Lead Software Engineer at Emulex, where Troy led a team in delivering VMware-related projects, and at Ericsson, where Troy managed vendor relationships and developed critical software components for router projects. Troy's earlier experience includes technical leadership at Sandial Systems and firmware engineering at Cabletron and Enterasys Networks. Troy holds an MBA from Plymouth State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern Maine, with ongoing education at Villanova University.
