Vera Cheng

Vera Cheng is an experienced HR technology leader currently serving as the Director of HR Technology at Oracle since October 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing global HR and recruiting systems. Vera has a strong background in HRIS project management, having previously managed significant upgrades and implemented the Taleo Recruiting Cloud. Prior roles include HRIS Consultant at Onyx Pharmaceuticals focusing on Workday implementation, IT Program Manager at Medtronic overseeing applications and infrastructure, and Sr. Business Systems Manager at Openwave Systems, where Vera executed Oracle HR application upgrades. Earlier career experience includes managing IT systems for Human Resources at Sun Microsystems. Vera Cheng holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
