Volker Schönefeld

Volker Schönefeld has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Volker currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Orange Charger, a position they started in 2022. In the same year, Schönefeld also founded Machine Spirits UG.

Prior to their current roles, Schönefeld co-founded and worked as the CTO of ARVO starting in 2020. Volker was responsible for the software infrastructure and game engine, as well as designing games at Limbic, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO from 2009 to 2021.

Schönefeld was also a Co-Founder and CTO of Extality from 2018 to 2020. Volker began their career as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University, where they worked from 2005 to 2008.

Additionally, Schönefeld has been an active member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization since 2014, serving as a Board Member from 2017 to 2020.

Volker Schönefeld completed their Diplom in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University from 2003 to 2009. In 2008 and 2009, they attended UC San Diego to further their studies in Computer Science. The degree obtained during that period is not specified.
