Krista Ziehler

Krista Ziehler has extensive experience in government and political affairs, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Orange County Clerk of Courts since July 2022. Prior roles include Chief of Staff for Representative Carlos Guillermo Smith at the Florida House of Representatives (October 2019 - July 2022), and Legislative Affairs for Kamm & Dabeau Government Affairs (November 2018 - October 2019). Ziehler also held positions such as Legislative Director for the Texas House of Representatives and Development Associate at The University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School of Public Affairs. Additional experience encompasses significant roles in campaign finance and legislative assistance, including fundraising management for Jim Waldman’s state senate campaign and supporting legislative processes in the Florida House of Representatives. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida State University.
