Michael Armbruster

Michael Armbruster Ed.D. has an extensive career in education, primarily with Orange County Public Schools since July 1987, culminating in the role of Deputy Superintendent. With a focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE), Michael oversaw programs serving 35,000 students across multiple high schools and technical college campuses in the tenth largest school district in the United States. Previous positions include Principal at University High School, Ocoee High School, and West Orange High School, as well as an Assistant Principal at West Orange High School. Michael began the career as a teacher at Westside Technical Center, where a new Agriculture program was developed. In addition to a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Central Florida, Michael holds a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. Prior to a dedicated career in education, Michael served as the General Manager at West Orange Country Club from 1984 to 1987.
