Amy Arambulo

Director Of Community Impact - 211oc at Orange County United Way

Amy Arambulo has extensive experience in various roles throughout their career. From 2013 onwards, they served as the Director of Community Impact - 211OC at Orange County United Way. In this position, they led and advanced 211OC's programs and collaborative relations, focused on maximizing community impact and advancing health equity. Amy was responsible for overseeing the organization's 24/7 contact center operations and community programs, as well as managing staff, grant writing and reporting, and maintaining compliance with government and foundation grants.

Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, Amy worked as a Senior Research Associate at Cal Poly Pomona. In this role, they managed a team of 20 researchers and conducted interviews, psycho-bio-social experiments, and online questionnaires to collect psychological and performance data from undergraduate participants. Amy also analyzed the data using Excel and SPSS and presented their findings on STEM disparities at regional and national conferences.

Amy also served as a Child Counselor at Paragon Center Inc. from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they provided counseling to at-risk foster youth from abusive backgrounds in a level 12 group home. Amy also acted as a liaison between the children and their social workers and therapists.

Overall, Amy brings a wealth of experience in program management, research, counseling, and community impact to their work.

Amy Arambulo earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women Studies from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Sociology at California State University, Los Angeles from 2011 to 2014.
